Century Marine batteries are renowned for their reliability, out performing most other brands! Century boat batteries come as Starter batteries and also Starter and Dual purpose batteries. Generally speaking, if you are a day boaty with an outboard up to 100hp a Starter battery will be fine. If you go overnight and have an outboard over 100hp you should consider a Dual purpose battery, or have a Starter battery and a Dual purpose or Deep Cycle battery to run the electrical equipment for longer.
