Start-Stop and I-Stop battery collection

Vehicles fitted with Idle Stop Start (ISS) systems have been developed by vehicle manufacturers to improve vehicle fuel efficiency and reduce emissions in line with environmental regulations. An ISS System works by shutting off the engine when the vehicle stops, is idling or when the brake is applied. Once the accelerator is pressed the engine restarts enabling the vehicle to be driven. 

Conventional batteries should not be fitted into ISS systems. Conventional batteries are not designed to handle the constant Start Stop action of the ISS systems. Only use approved Idle Start Stop AGM batteries which are designed to handle the constant starting demands of ISS systems.
